Hilary has been working in user experience and design for over a decade, mostly in the public sector. Most recently, as Head of Service Design & Innovation for the Registers of Scotland.
She has a love of fonts and maps and really does think robots are the future (so is making friends with them now).

What happens when you take a team of long-serving employees in a 400-year-old organisation and give them the challenge of redesigning their work by asking one simple question: how could we do this better?
A culture change that has the potential to redesign the entire organisation from the inside out.
Hilary will share her collaborative journey so far. It’s not been easy (and at the time of writing, not complete), but working in government can be radical and exciting!
